Tatyanin Day is a holiday of youth, a holiday of all those who keep a fire in the soul of creativity, a thirst for knowledge, search and discovery. Test access to the resources of EBSCO - Computers & Applied Sciences Complete.

Test access to the database of th publisher EBSCO - Computers & Applied Sciences Complete provided to our library consortium NEICON. Computers & Applied Sciences Complete covers the research and development spectrum of the computing and applied sciences disciplines. CASC provides indexing and abstracts for more than 2,000 academic journals, professional publications, and other reference sources from a diverse collection. Full text is also available for more than 950 periodicals. Access on the network SUSU will last until December 31, 2010.

Test access to the electronic library system

Scientific Library has trial access to the educational, scientific and business literature of the electronic library system of the leading Russian publishing houses Peterand BHV-Petersburg, developed in close collaboration with the Association of Regional Library Consortia (ARBIKON). Access is in the Department of electronic resources till December 15, 2010.

Short test access to the electronic library system

The library has trial access to the electronic library system, containing a modern educational and scientific literature on all branches of knowledge. Electronic versions of books appear in the earlier printed publications. Logins to the system can be in the Department of electronic resources. Access will last until November 24, 2010.

Test access to the electronic engineering library of the publishing house ASTM International
Scientific Library SUSU received the test access to the collections of the publishing house ASTM - ASTM Standards and Engineering Digital Library. The resource presents more than 12,000 ASTM standards on 130 industries, 6 magazines, as well as books, reference books and conference proceedings on engineering sciences. Access will last until January 17, 2011 on the network SUSU.

Round table "We are interesting to each other, because we are different"

Round table "We are interesting to each other, because we are different" on the International Day of Tolerance will be held on November 16, 2010 at 15.30 in the conference hall of the Scientific Library of South Ural State University (room 301/3D). Leaders of the discussion will be a writer Kirill Shishov, scientist-ethnographer Sergey Timoshenko, graduate student of the Department of History Elena Sosnovskih. The discussion will be attended by the professors and students of humanitarian faculties of SUSU. It is organized the thematic exhibition of publicaions"Faces of Tolerance" for the round table.
